We have a strong track record in the sensitive repair and alteration of smaller vernacular buildings especially timber frame structures as well as larger country and town houses. Our services are designed for the owners and custodians of historic and listed buildings who wish to combine a well informed approach with a value for money, quality service.
As principle, or specialist sub contractors PPS bring together management and craft skills offering a wide range of services from structural surveying to simple repairs. Our small team of craftsmen are formally trained and highly experienced, this has given us an enviable reputation for attention to detail and the ability to overcome difficult conservation and repair problems.

Based in North East Wales we work mainly in the North West of England, North Wales and as far south as Shropshire, but also consider enquiries from further afield.
Period Property are currently undertaking a scheme of repair, restoration and redecoration of a C17th property in Ruthin.
Repair and conservation of stone columns and lime torching to the underside of the roof are being carried out on this Grade ll listed sturcture.

Pendref Chapel, Mold
Period Property were recently awarded the contract for the repair and redecoration of the ceiling and roof at Pendref Chapel, a Grade ll listed structure in Mold.
Works include structural repairs to walls and roof structure , relaying of slate roof covering, masonary repairs, lime plastering, internal and exterior decoration.
Project part funded by Cadw, HLF and National Churches Trust.

Grade ll listed timber frame conservation in Cheshire.
West Shore Tram Shelter, Llandudno
A Grade ll listed structure and one of the few remaining buildings from Llandudno's once extensive tram system. Unfortunaley vandalism has left the tram shelter needing an extensive scheme of repair and redecoration.
PPS have been awarded the contract to carry out a scheme of conservation.
